Monkees Monday #18

“Auntie’s Municipal Court”.

Vocals: Micky Dolenz

There was a summer back when I was around 15 or so, when I spent my time discovering Monkees songs that I had never heard, never heard of, and never expected. A lot of the songs were off of their albums, not the TV show, which I had no access to, and some came from Season Two which I had not really experienced yet at this time. I have no idea where the title of this song come from, nor can I say the lyrics make much sense, but during this summer of exlporation and discovery, I stumbled upon this obscure little song and adored immediately. I hope you will like it too, and that these three posts can at least slightly make up for my absence. :)
